Palauet, Apartament familiar 2
The Little Palace of Besalú, at the end of the Cloister and corner of the wall, which today offer warm rooms and dreamlike outdoor spaces, taking care of the smallest detail. It consists of three outdoor spaces and an interior ground floor of more than 80 square meters: a solemn entrance with historic stained-glass windows opens the way to a spacious living/dining room connected to a large kitchen. The stately spaces, wide and high vaulted ceilings, are testimony to the splendid past of the building. Two carefully decorated bedrooms with a double bed and the possibility of an extra bed, and a large adapted bathroom complete the property. Three unique terraces surround the accommodation: in the south, a viewpoint over the old wall with views of the river bank, the Mill gardens and the orchards. A magical place where you can enjoy the best sunsets in La Garrotxa with friends and family. To the east, the large Huerta de la Bovera, today a large 175 square meter terrace with a swimming pool, offers exceptional views of the head of the ancient Church of San Pedro. Between the two terraces, there runs a third space that connects them, above the historic Portal de las Huertas. The decoration has been preserved with original elements with fireplaces, moldings and stained glass. Wood, well present in walls and furniture, achieves, together with natural fibers and a palette of brown and cream colors, a highly relaxing environment connected to the nature of its magical surroundings. From its walls hang, on the one hand, original engravings that refer to the town's rich past and, on the other hand, old photographs of the monastery. Natural fibers, such as linen, wool or cotton, achieve, in bedspreads, towels, cushions and curtains with a serene and homely atmosphere. In its interiors, the wooden, glass and metal tableware stands out: demijohns, basin jugs or baskets shine next to comfortable beds with canopies. The Little Palace is an authentic oasis of heritage, nature and tranquility in the heart of the historic center of Villa Condal with its spectacular Romanesque bridge, the alleys of the Jewish quarter, the medieval squares, a wide gastronomic offer and a privileged historical and natural environment. Services: ecological amenities, high-speed Wi-Fi connection, gas heating, separate collection, possibility of parking bicycles in the same house. Guest benefits: discount at Circusland and free snacks at the Formidable cocktail bar. Nearby places of interest: Banyoles lake (13 km), Olot volcanoes (22 km), Dalí museum (25 km), Girona (34 km), typical towns such as Santa Pau, Rupit, Beget or Castellfollit de la Roca. Distances: Barcelona 129 km, Perpignan 57 km, Figueres-Vilafant AVE station 23 km.
