Welcome to the wooded Exloo, located on the Hondsrug in Drenthe. We live in the monumental train station of Exloo from 1903, on the NOLS railway line, from Zwolle to Delfzijl. This railway was established in 1899 and closed in 1945. This railway line is now a beautiful hiking trail! Next to our house is a completely detached and brand new renovated house of 2 floors with enough privacy and private entrance for up to 6 people. There is free parking space, and a private terrace in complete privacy.

Cozy vacation home in Drenthe

This charming five-person nature house has a large shared garden behind the property, with animals, various seating areas, and a large play area with playground equipment. With nice weather you can cook outside in the witch boiler or use the barbecue. The cottage is a great base from which to discover Drenthe, Groningen, Friesland and Germany. For example, the beautiful forests of Emmen with their dolmens and the Bargerveen nature reserve are nearby but is also fortified town of Bourtange not far.

This vacation home has recently been completely renovated and thus equipped with every comfort. The house has a lovely spacious garden with lots of privacy and parking space. Inside, you can enjoy a warm bath or light the wood stove comfortably. The forest and two natural swimming lakes are less than 10 minutes' walk away, where you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking and swimming. Since the cottage is on a cozy campsite (De Lente van Drenthe), there are many amenities just around the corner.

In a beautiful nature reserve and within walking distance of swimming lakes Gasselterveld/'t Nije Hemelriek, our recently modernized vacation home is located in a quiet bungalow park and offers a lot of privacy with sunny and shady spots. To relax, there is a 3-person massage Jacuzzi under the veranda. The deposit for our house is €250. The area is ideal for peace seekers, hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. In our beautiful fenced private garden, you will enjoy the many bird species.

Come and stay in our unique little cottage located in a quiet location in Gasselte on the Hondsrug, Drenthe, bordering the forest, heath and sandy plains of the Drouwenerzand nature reserve. Here you can spend hours hiking, cycling or horseback riding in a wooded area. You are just a stone's throw away from the Drenthe megalithic tombs, the famous swimming lake Nije Hemelriekje, the Adventure Park or the Drouwenerzand Amusement Park. Your horse or dog can come along for a small fee.

This amazing accommodation guarantees fun with the whole family. Because there is a lot of space in this house, as well as in the yard, everyone can find his or her way around here. The ground floor is wheelchair friendly. Outside, there is enough space to sit, whether or not in the sun. Lovely bungalow in a beautiful place! With a large private garden around the bungalow. The bungalow is entirely on one floor. A nice living room, practical kitchen, fresh bathroom and 3 lovely bedrooms. Private parking at the bungalow. There is a private playground right in front of the bungalow for our tenants and a general playground in the park (1-minute walk). Also there is a pump track, tennis court, table tennis tables, volleyball, and a large air trampoline available.

Vacation home in nature reserve and forests in Gasselte

Vacation home on the grounds of a farmhouse with lots of privacy. It is located near the woods where there is a beautiful swimming lake, hiking and cycling paths. Gasselte is known for its many mountain bike routes. From the terrace, you look out over the countryside, and in the summer, the sheep graze in the meadow with their lambs. We are next to a small café that is open on Saturdays from 4 pm to about 11:30 pm. Drinks and parties are also held from time to time.

The apartment is located between monumental thatched farms in old Valthe, a small village on the Hondsrug, Around Valthe, there are forests, fields, heaths, country roads, fens, burial mounds and megalithic tombs. Many cycling and hiking routes run through Valthe that give access to a widespread network through Drenthe and surrounding provinces. 1 child up to 4 years old can stay in the parents' room. On request, a crib/child's bed can be placed.
