Relax in the tranquility of nature on the shores of the clear-watered Kuontijärvi, close to Ruka's services. The cottage (40 sqm/two rooms + loft) is well equipped. The atmosphere is created by an open fireplace in the living room. Several great activities right from the front door: in winter, the Kuontivaara ski loop passes by, and in summer, the mountain biking route (Kouvervaara loop). The nearest grocery store is about 10 minutes by car (Ruka). The cottage is part of a housing association, with one semi-detached cottage and one cottage consisting of three apartments in the same yard.

Spend your vacation in the tranquility of nature, with a comfortable distance from the neighbors. From the windows you may see the Northern Lights and the starry sky, the woods and the rabbits run in the woods. Sometimes reindeers visit nearby. The ski trail is just 480 yards (450 meters) away – a short walk, and you're on the trail. The ski slopes of Vuossel are also a short trip. There is also a snowmobile rental nearby. In the summer, it's possible to swim in a nearby lake. Sheets and towels available upon request, at an additional cost of €23 per person.

Welcome to enjoy the traditional and atmospheric log cabin in the middle of the beautiful nature of Kuusamo. Hike, fish, pick berries and in winter, weather permitting, you can ski from the lake to Ruka. A magnificent starry sky crowns the evening sky and the sun shining through the night on summer nights. The cabin has basic amenities, but still requires basic cabin skills (e.g. heating the fireplace and beach sauna). Bedding/towels and final cleaning are not included in the rent. The other side of the cottage is available for rent as additional space. Ask for more!

A new spacious house, where children also enjoy. The house is in its own peace in the middle of nature. There is an atmospheric sauna, and you can go swimming in the saltwater pond in the backyard. Very well equipped and extremely tidy house. There is a nice view of the backyard, and in winter you can also see the northern lights. From the yard you can jog on forest trails, and in winter you can ski and snowmobile. To Ruka in 18 minutes. Ski trail 0.5 km, snowmobile trail 0.5 km, Kuusamo Tropics 3.5 km, center 5 km, airport 6.5 km.

A warm-hearted cottage on the shores of Lake Kitkajärvi with all the comforts. The tap water is clean spring water. Wood-heated sauna. Private beach (80 m from the cottage) with an electric outboard motor equipped with a rowing boat. Hot tub, sheets and towels as agreed (extra charge). Snowshoes and children's sleds are allowed. Nearby: e.g. Ruka ski resort 19 km from the cottage (about 20 min drive), Riisitunturi National Park 18 km (about 15 min drive), also Valtavaara, Konttainen, Karhunkierros nearby.

An atmospheric and very peaceful cottage in Kuusamo. The cottage is located on a narrow peninsula, on the shore of a sandy and clear-watered lake. The beach is also very suitable for children to swim. Good recreational opportunities in the area, skiing, snowshoeing, winter fishing and snowmobiling in winter (transfer route to the official snowmobile route). Good fishing opportunities, located in the Muojärvi-Kuusamojärvi water area, water connection to the center of Kuusamo and the eastern border.

The apartment has everything you need, from dishes to a washing machine. A heated parking space for the car in front of the apartment and a short walk away you will find a bus station and ski bus stop in winter, restaurants and grocery stores. The apartment is very clean and there are no personal belongings in the apartment!

Nearby are wonderful nature sites: Karhunkierrokset, Riisitunturi, Ruka, Kiutaköngäs, etc. You can make day trips to nearby destinations. The beach sauna is at your disposal and we will advise you on how to heat it. WiFi available. The price includes linens and towels for three.

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!
