Inside: The loft provides you with two extra beds. The cabin has water limited to the shower and sink. A cozy outdoor toilet in an outhouse one meter from the cabin wall. This one is equipped with lights, heating and ventilation for minimal odor. Drinking water will be delivered before your arrival. Exterior: Private jetty, rowboat and kayaks available. This cabin is perfect for friends, families with children, and has 2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms as well as a living room and kitchen. There are 3 double beds, 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed. Outside you have a lovely view from the terrace with a cozy fire pit and seating.

Hytta ligger på Viken Fjellgård, en time fra Lillehammer, rett ved idylliske Espedalsvatnet, 720 m.o.h, og Langsua Nasjonalpark. Her kan man få stillhet og ro, bade, padle, besøke gruver, eller gå turer. Det er kort til høyfjell med mange turmuligheter, eller å gå ut fra gården langs vannet, på stier i skog og mark. Det er koselig uteplass med bålpanne på brygga ved naustet, og det er badestrand på andre siden. Våre gjester kan benytte våre to båter og kano fritt,og vi låner ut to fiskestenger.

18th century timbered wooden house close to everything

Stay centrally in Lillehammer with stunning views of Mjøsa, in a traditional timbered wooden house with a unique history. Vågåhuset is a timber building that was moved from Vågå to Lillehammer in 1913. The house was originally one of three buildings on a farm in Vågå in Gudbrandsdalen. According to Maihaugen/digital museum, the house was bought and moved to Lillehammer by the painter Frederik Collett.
