Bring or rent a boat to explore The Islands or relax on the shore. Enjoy local dining, live music, and nightlife, all 10-25 mins, or Oklahoma's top casinos—Winstar and Choctaw—each only 45 mins away.

Lake Texoma (the house is not lakefront). It’s a cozy place to relax after a day on the water. Enjoy mornings on the covered porch, evenings around the fire pit, and nearby beaches and nature. This older lake home offers simple comforts and ongoing updates. No Fence for pets. It’s clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The neighborhood is a mix of well-kept and NOT well-kept homes. We want to set clear expectations before you book. We do not have lake views or direct lake access from the property.

It is 9 miles to Madill and 13 to Ardmore, both of which have grocery stores and WalMarts although most of the restaurants are to be found in Ardmore. Stop on the way in and pick up your provisions, there is a full size fridge/freezer.

There is room for parking a boat. After a long day at the lake, just lounge around the cabin, relax and enjoy the deck, or sit around our fire pit and take in a nice fire. Buffalo Home has that cabin-in-the woods feeling that makes you never want to leave! The cabin is equipped with everything you need to make your vacation stress-free. We are ideally located near Lake Texoma and the State Park (<2 miles) where you can take your family hiking, swimming, or fishing. Around the bend is Catfish Bay (3 miles) and Alberta Marina (5 miles) both offer boat ramps, marina supplies, and rentals of all kinds. High speed internet is available for guest use.
