The little ones will surely enjoy exploring the huge yard with plum trees and the barn. The kitchen is accesible from outside. Located close to the walled village citadel and the fortified church - the landmark of the village - the house bears the name of its last owner (the Folberth house). Local, authentic experience you can book while staying here: observe the unspoiled nature surrounding Viscri during a short 2 hour horseback tour with lipizzan horses or take an entire day of and visit another traditional Saxon village nearby, lunch included.

My cosy countryside home is placed in the nicest part of Criț, near the fortified church, on ViaTransilvanica. Viscri is only 15 mins away. Please be so kind to rent it in April only if you like the idea of making a fire. You will have the entire house (2 rooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen) and a small yard to yourself; the place accommodates 4 people. If you have a thing for authentic accommodation and you are not seeking city-like perfection, you will love it here. Biker friendly. Breakfast available.

Blue house-Crit 164, transylvanian old-world charm

The old Saxon house is restored-from the facade to interior details- with traditional materials and methods, conserving the charm of the original house built over 200 years ago. The house is located on the main street of the village of Crit, street listed as "historical monument" Behind the old gate you will discover a completely closed, charming courtyard, sourounded by ancient buildings. Bala, Mures County, is a stunning rural village in the heart of Transylvania. High up, in a bowl of rolling hills, it is the land that time forgot, green and sleepy with only the sound of cows’ bells tinkling as they are herded home from pasture and the clip-clop of a horse and cart. Experience life in the slow lane as it was a hundred years ago – almost the last unspoilt place in Europe you can see local people farming smallholdings and nursing their ancient traditions with love and pride.

Located in the middle of the nature and near Bezid Lake, the place is ideal for families or groups that want to enjoy nature and the heart of Transilvania. It is close to Sovata, Sighisoara and Tirgu Mures, about half of hour by car. This house was reconditioned by us, many pieces in the house were build or refurbished. We ofer a big garden where kids can play. We have two ponies, cows and donkeys. We have a big backyard with vegetables in the summer.

Saschiz 165, restored barn-entire house

Saschiz 165 is a house dating from 1759, being one of the oldest houses in Saschiz commune. It is located in the center of the locality, near the tower and the evangelical church, UNESCO monuments. The guest house is a sister house restored in 2020-2021 from which traditional elements specific to the Saxon houses in the rural area of Transylvania have been preserved and added.
