We are located in Alagoa, Minas Gerais, at an altitude of 1,700 meters, in the upper part of the Serra da Mantiqueira mountain range. It is 15 km (about 30 minutes) to the city center and 32 km to the center of Itamonte. The Serra do Papagaio State Park headquarters are 8 km (5 miles) from the chalet, and the Itatiaia National Park is 60 km (37 miles) away (4x4 vehicles only). - Peace and tranquility ✅️ - Privacy and quiet ✅️

🌅 Alvorada Chalet – comfort and a lovely view Cozy chalet at Sítio Mirante Refúgio, with a prime view and perfect for relaxing in the midst of nature. It features a queen-size bed, a full kitchen, and a hot tub. Outdoor area with private barbecue area. Breakfast included. We are located 12 km (7.5 miles) from downtown Itamonte, with a paved road and easy access for all vehicles. On the property, there is also a store and a food truck offering delicious options. Note: We put firewood in the fireplace only on the day of arrival. If you use the firewood, all of you will have to buy more for the next day. There are some for sale in every little market.

The main advantage of the chalet is its location in the heart of the tourist center of Pénedo, less than 200 m from the "Casa do Papai Noël". You can stroll around at will and enjoy the restaurants, "ao vivo" music bars, craft and souvenir shops or the Pénedo box, while leaving the car in the private parking space. Six people can sleep in the three bedrooms of the chalet.
