There is a short distance to the slalom slopes, 12 minutes drive to Geilo city center with all its facilities. The cabin is located at the foot of Hardangervidda 1030 masl. There is beautiful hiking terrain right outside the cabin door with endless opportunities for nature experiences for small children's feet to experienced mountaineers. Right behind the cabin wall there are cross-country ski trails that can take you far into Hardangervidda or around the nearby area. Uvdal alpine center is only 10 minutes away by car for speed-loving ski enthusiasts. At the same time, Dagali Mountain Park, Dagali experiences and Langedrag Nature Park offer exciting experiences.

At 920 meters above sea level, you will have a fantastic view of Gaustatoppen, peaceful surroundings, and very good sun conditions from morning to evening. A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming, and cross-country skiing, as well as mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage of Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk Skisenter is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

The cabin was completed in Easter 2020 and is idyllically located in Midtre Fjellsnaret on the sunny side of Uvdal. The cabin is at over 1000 meters above sea level with panoramic views, sun all day, idyllic and undisturbed. Here at the foot of Hardangervidden there are countless opportunities for great nature experiences and fun activities for the whole family this summer. Cross-country ski trails with a large trail network right outside the door, and an alpine slope with lots of opportunities for all ages.

Detached cabin

Relax with the family in this newly renovated and detached residence with beautiful views of the valley. Quiet and peaceful area close to nature. In the summer months you will be able to meet grazing sheep and lambs on the lush lands below the cabin - in winter the same area can be used for sledding, play and fun! Short distance to famous family attractions such as the Bear Park, Langedrag and Nesbyen Alpin. From the cabin you can easily get into the large network of bike trails Nesbyen has to offer.

Hallway, bathroom/toilet, living room with fireplace and kitchen, 3 bedrooms. Storage/laundry room, washing machine and dryer and toilet. TV with Apple TV/ Internet 100/100 via fiber/WiFi. Large terrace with nice dining area for 10 people, Weber charcoal grill and hot tub. In addition, there is a covered dining area with terrace heating at the entrance.

Cozy, modern cabin with ski-in/ski-out at the foot of Gaustatoppen! Stay high up in the mountains, within walking distance of great hikes and right next to the ski resort – enjoy the Fyrieggheisen lift and Hovdestaulløypa slope almost from your doorstep. 10 beds, and fantastic views of Gaustatoppen from the terrace and large windows. All basic items are available in the cabin – remember to bring your own bed linens and towels."

Cosy little cabin

The cabin is very small, but quite comfortable. (Around 10 kvm) The bathroom is separate. Rustic interior. Most suitable for couples and good friends. If you need more space, take a look at the other cabin on our farm, (Cottage anno 1711) Sauna can be rented. 300NOK / 30 Euro per use. If you arrive by train or bus, we can pick you up at the station. For this we will charge 150 NOK / 15 Euro per way.
